Find the auto part that actually fits your vehicle.
Ordering the wrong part means a wasted trip, a return, and a car that stays in the driveway. PARTTAG matches your exact vehicle to the right part, so you can tell what fits before you buy.
Scan your VIN, photograph the old part, or scan the barcode on a box. No need to know what the part is called.
How it works
Tell us your vehicle
Type the year, make, model and engine, or scan the VIN plate. VINs are decoded with the U.S. government's NHTSA vehicle database and checked with the standard VIN check digit to catch misreads.
Tell us the part
Type a part name or number, photograph the old part, or scan a barcode. Photos are read automatically so you do not need to know the part's name.
See what fits
PARTTAG searches live eBay listings and shows the ones eBay marks as fitting your vehicle. When you are ready, you finish the purchase on eBay.

What makes it different
- Fit is labeled honestly. On eBay, sellers declare which vehicles a part fits. PARTTAG shows only listings that eBay marks as fitting your vehicle, labeled Fits per eBay. PARTTAG has not independently verified each seller's claim, so check the listing details before you buy. Listings eBay cannot confirm as a match are left out.
- Built for people who do not know part names. Point the camera at the old part or the box.
- Live listings. Results are pulled from eBay at the moment you search, so prices and availability are current. PARTTAG does not store eBay listing data.
- Your vehicles, saved on your device. If you work on the same car often, save its VIN once. It stays in your own browser.
PARTTAG began after a real experience: parts ordered for a 2014 Lincoln MKZ that turned out not to fit, even though two different stores had matched them to that car. Year, make and model alone are often not enough. Details such as engine, drive type and build date decide which part fits. PARTTAG is built around that problem.
How PARTTAG is paid
PARTTAG does not sell parts, hold inventory, or process payments. You always complete a purchase on the seller's website, such as eBay or another retailer.
Some links on PARTTAG are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, PARTTAG may earn a commission from the seller or its affiliate program, such as the eBay Partner Network, at no extra cost to you. Commissions do not change how fit is labeled.
